This policy applies to the QuoteSorted website, app panel, public booking pages, and related services. It covers tradesperson account data, customer booking data, and service usage metadata.

2. Data we collect

Account and profile data

• Name, email, phone, business details, address, and account preferences.
• Public profile content including service types, service areas, photos, portfolio items, and blog posts.

• Quotes, job requests, bookings, calendar events, blocked slots, and availability configuration.
• Payment metadata from Stripe, including payment status and transaction identifiers.
• Notification template settings and delivery logs for email, SMS, and WhatsApp workflows.

Technical and security data

• IP addresses, device/browser information, request logs, and abuse-prevention signals.
• Audit trails and activity logs used for account security and operational integrity.

3. Customer data submitted by tradespeople

Tradespeople may store customer information in QuoteSorted when managing bookings and quotes. In those cases, tradespeople are typically the primary controller for that customer relationship and QuoteSorted acts as a processor for platform operations.

4. Why we process data

• To provide core product functionality (quotes, bookings, payments, notifications).
• To secure the platform, prevent abuse, and investigate incidents.
• To improve reliability, performance, and customer support outcomes.
